Once again I found myself in NYC.  Even though I spent an entire day with the flu in my hotel bed, I was still able to make it to the street for some of my favorite kind of photography.  This stuff reminds me of my early work that set so much of my foundation in wedding photography.  I would always try to tailor an image to suit each subject.  Weddings seem to call for this kind of thinking when it comes to photography.  I love all the wedding subjects that have shown me new ways of making images.  I can see in my new images of old subjects, my new ways of thinking.

Paul recently got back from the “Fast Track Photographer” workshop in Austin and it has brought about such positive changes that we are slowly incorporating into our business and our lives. I hope to maybe catch life this changing experience sometime next year (fingers crossed). Here are a few images from the workshop and the beautiful city of Austin.
